Fill lets you add or create a signature on an iPhone in three ways: Type, Draw, or Import. Let’s explore each of these options:

  • When you select the Draw option, you can access Fill’s on-screen canvas. You can use your fingers to draw your signature on your iPhone. Choose from the different pen types to customize the look of your esignature.
  • If you opt for Type, you can simply input your name or initials using your smartphone’s keyboard. Choose the cursive font that closely resembles your handwritten signature. You can change the color if you want to.
  • You can also upload a digital copy or photo of your handwritten signature by selecting Import. Then, upload the file straight from your gallery. You can also connect Fill to your cloud storage to locate the image.

Once you have a copy of your signature saved to the cloud, you can easily access it should you want to sign digital documents on your Apple smartphone.

What makes Fill a standout electronic signature app is that it offers a host of great features, including giving you the ability to sign a Word document using an iPhone. Let’s walk you through the quick and easy process.

  1. Save the Word document to your phone. You can also save it on your Google Drive, iCloud, or Dropbox for easier access.
  2. Once that’s done, go to Fill’s mobile application. Download it here if you don’t have it yet.

  8. You can email the document to the other concerned parties or export it to your iPhone.

If you receive a signature request on your email sent via Fill, you should be able to sign the documents on your iPhone or iPad without any difficulty. You have two options to fulfill the paperwork:

  • Fill’s web-based application using your mobile web browser
  • Fill’s electronic signature application for iOS

Both options are pretty straightforward to use. Of course, the latter provides a smoother document-signing experience as it’s specifically designed for mobile use.

If, however, a PDF file or Word document was sent to you as an email attachment, you can still sign it using Fill. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Download the document and save it on your phone. You can also store it on your cloud storage.
  2. Upload the document on Fill’s mobile app for Apple devices by tapping on the plus (+) button on the bottom center of the screen.
